Discrimination
Get this-
So we all know I love to cook. Well today I got a new issue of Cuisine at Home in the mail and there's a recipe for tamales in it. Tamales are a ton of work, but they're awesome so I figured I would give it a go.
There's really nothing to it, except for the fact that it's time consuming.
So we headed to Wally world to fill my prescription and off we headed to the Latin section to buy the masa harina and corn husks. There, so just happened to be a mexican lady looking at some stuff. She looked over and asked if I was going to try to make tamales. I told her yup, that I was gonna give it a go.
You wanna know what she did? She laughs this sarcastic chuckle and then real snotty says " huh...good luck".
I was like...wtf? are you kidding me?
the next time I see a mexican lady buying the stuff to make apple pie...I'm gonna wish her good tidings in her AMERICAN pie baking adventure....
