Merry Christmas

Ricki

Santa Claus sent us an Elf on the Shelf. Bella and Zoe are CONVINCED this thing is real, and letm e tell you it works WONDERS. We have presents under our tree and were having problems keeping Zoe out, as soon as Ricki- our Elf, showed up and started watching their behavior so she could report it to santa....all choas stopped. The presents were left alone and  the only words that have to be uttered are ....Ricki is watching. Every night before we go to bed we move her to a different location and in the morning its a race to see who can find her new hiding spot first. It is seriously te coolest thing.

A Tradition

SOOOOO, we have decided to start a new tradition- Las Vegas every year in February. We went last year over Valentine's Day and had a blast. We decided we wanted to go again this year but it didn't work for us to go over V-day, so we decided to go the following week. We are staying the same place we stayed last year for several reasons- one being it's super cheap and two because there's LOTS of memories there. We are very excited. We are going February 20 to February 24th. We were thinking of flying but have decided to just drive. So thats it, our new tradition in a nutshell! :o)

Thanksgiving

Happy belated Thanksgiving everyone. I hope you all ate till ya popped and spent the day with friends and/or loved ones. We all went over to my parents house and had a feast and good company. Louis, Rachel, me, Bella, Zoe, Jason and nana and papa were all in attendance. My mom made all the food and I made the desserts. I made a Mississippi mud, a pretzel salad, and four pies: pumpkin, apple, pecan and lemon meringue. Rachel was only able to stay with us until 2pm, but next year we should  be able to get her for the evening. Everyone had a  really good time and I feel blessed to have such awesome people in my life.

Birthday Stuff

Louis' birthday is on Saturday the first. I'm not sure exactly what I'm going to get him yet, but I did decide on something fun to do. We are going to go on the Thunder Mountain Line Holiday Dinner train ride. Its a three hour round trip ride, we got seats on the river side of the train, and the meal includes your traditional holiday fair- turkey, ham, potatoes and gravy, green beans and pumpkin pie for dessert. We are excited it should be fun. THEN, I also bought us tickets to Snoops concert on the second to last day of everyone's life- December 20th.....if we're all going down, we might as well do it in style. :)

Give Thanks

As tradition holds, with basically EVERYBODY, here is our annual lists of what we are thankful for. This year was fun because Bella finally got the idea of what was going on and gave me a reasonable list. Zo, on the other hand, gave me a list that made me smile....where she comes up with some of this stuff is beyond me.  Love those ladies!!!

Lucky

I just wanted to post about how much I love mi amor. He is soooo super awesome. Every night when I come home from work he has the house cleaned, candles lit, and everything ready for me to come home. If Im home from work, he comes home for lunch to visit and will either try to take the day off or get off as early as he can to come be with me, or he will try to work from home. The other day I had a headache at work and just felt crappy. Well, when I got home he had flowers and a card for me, the house was spotless, candles were lit, trip hop was playing in the back ground, bath was ready. It's so awesome to come home to this each and every night. Most ladies only get this treatment on special days, but this lucky little duck gets it all the time. It doesn't go un-noticed or unappreciated either. I understand how fortunate I am and try to let him know that he makes me super happy. I couldnt ask for anything more, he is absolutely amazing and I am head over heels stupid in love with the most amazing guy...sorry ladies he's all mine and I have no intentions of letting him go or sharing....sorry.
