I will start with New Years Eve weekend. Friday night, Louie and I went to a Dubstep party at the Knitting Factory. The music was off the hook and it was a lot of fun. It was awesome cuz we got free tickets to the next dubstep show at the Knitting Facotry which is January 7th...we're gonna hit that one up too. I had too much to drink and nearly made myself sick the next morning, but no harm no foul, I didn't and with a little TLC, I was up and feeling better in no time.
New Years Eve day Louie and I stayed home in bed till basically 11. Then it was off to the Olive Garden for lunch. After lunch we headed to the store to grab some dog food and some last minute things to make cookies. Once we got home, we made like 27 dozen oatmeal raisin cookies. Then we cleaned up a little bit and then for the rst of the night and monring, Louie and I sat on the living room floor in front of the fireplace talking about our lives....I'm not going to get into details, but lets just put it this way- not only was it the best New Years Eve ever, it was definitely one of the best nights of my life. I had a great time and wouldn't trade the night for the world.
NOW...........on to the happenings of 2011. I'm not going to get into the gory details, but lets put it this way, it was the worst and best year of my life all rolled into one. Some huge changes and some scary events took place, and I couldn't wait for the year to be over. On the flip side fo the coin though, I met the love of my life, and ended the year with a huge friggin' bang. All the BS that went on earlier in the year doesn't hold a candle to how good the year ended.....anyways- here is a basica nutshell of the year:
January: Nothing major here. I hate this month so it's always anti-climatic for me.
February- Same thing as January, just another cold dreary month. The girls got to celebrate Valentine's Day
March- Always a big month- Zoe turned 3 and Bella turned 5.
April- My 27th birthday
May- celebrated Mothers Day with the girls and mi madre
June- I ended up in the hospital after some messed up happenings.
July- I ended up in the hospital again. I moved myself and the girls out of the house and into an apartment.
August- Jason moved out and the girls and I moved back into the house. Papa's birthday.
September- Nana's birthday. School Starts
October- Halloween. Bella started a new school. Zoe quit day care. Met Louie.
November- Thanksgiving at my house with Louie and nana and the girls.
December- Christmas. Divorce finalized.
So there ya have it- the year of 2011 in a nutshell. It looks very anti-climatic, but trust me it was anything but boring....far too exciting actully.
Here's to a happy and healthy new year to everyone. I look forward to this year and what it will bring....I KNOW it will be the best year of my life yet.
